This course is at triyoga Camden. We start at 7.00 or 7.30am and finish at 5.00pm or 5.30pm, and you are expected to arrive on time each day and participate in the practice twice daily.
Course content
triyoga hot is a set sequence of approximately 30 postures practised in a heated environment of 34-36*C, which facilitates safe, deep stretching and a cleansing sweat. It uses breathing exercises and static (as opposed to flowing) postures to cultivate balance, strength and flexibility, both physically and mentally.
Following specific alignment and timing principles, the entire body is worked systematically – restoring the health of organs, bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, nerves and glands. By bringing fresh, oxygenated blood into every part of the body, this hot yoga practice rejuvenates the entire system.
The triyoga hot practice is informed by the teachings of hatha and hot yoga methods. The eight limbs of Patanjali’s yoga are woven into the fabric of the classes. It incorporates intelligent alignment and timing principles with a light-hearted approach while maintaining the intensity and transformational qualities of traditional hot methods. The sequence promotes joint safety, and has been assessed and endorsed by physiotherapists, making it a powerful, nurturing and accessible practice for all levels of students.

Additional information
Kristin Campbell (she/her) is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT® 500, YACEP ® Certified Yoga Teacher, teacher trainer and mentor for teachers.
With passion and precision and a dose of mama-bear love, Kristin teaches embodied-alignment based hatha yoga. In her classes, you can expect to go inward and connect to your breath and to ‘why’ you showed up. You will be encouraged to move slowly and deliberately, building strength and heat/tapas, your sacred fire on the mat, to nurture your capacity to BE with yourSelf, and thus discover, accept, love, and express yourSelf.
Kristin’s love for hot, power and Anusara yoga led her to create an alignment based hot yoga programme that she calls Tapasya Hot Yoga (pronounced tah-pah-syah), a spiritually uplifting, alignment-based method of Hot-Hatha and Warm-Hatha-Vinyasa yoga. Tapasya means ‘to be with intensity for the sake of transformation’. Currently triyoga UK, Yoga Moves NL, and YYoga Canada are offering Tapasya Hot Yoga-inspired classes and trainings.
